Bell Fibe TV (Eastern Canada Only)

FIBE TV TECHNOLOGY

Fibe TV is Bell TV Delivered on Bells Fibre Optic Network, the most advanced and largest fibre optic network in Canada.

Fibre Optic Network is available in two ways:
  • Fibre to the Node (FTTN)
  • Fibre to the Home (FTTH)

FIBE TO THE NODE (FTTN) AND FIBE 16+

Fibre to the Node (FTTN) supports Internet speeds of up to 25 Mbps. However, customers that choose Fibe TV within a FTTN footprint can only choose Internet speeds of up to 16+ Mbps. This is because the Fibe TV service uses a portion of the Internet speed.

WHAT DOES THE “+” MEAN IN FIBE 16+
  • The “+” means that the customer will get up to 16 Mbps internet speeds even when watching Fibe TV. If the customer is not watching TV, the internet speeds increase up to 25 Mbps

BENEFITS OF FIBE TV WITH FIBE INTERNET 16+
  • Customers who take Fibe TV with Fibe Internet 16+ benefit from speeds up to 25 Mbps (when Fibe TV is not in use) for the price of Fibe 16.

NOTE
  • Fibre to the Home (FTTH) supports Internet speeds of up to 175 Mbps and Fibe TV has no impact on the speed. Therefore, Fibe 16+ is not available to Fibe TV customers that are within a Fibre to the Home (FTTH) area.
